This is a well organised relatively small event in terms of runners which has its appeal. Stunning location at Burton Constable with much more parking this year than last. Make sure you approach via Sproatley. Did the 10k last year and ran the Half Marathon this year. Really enjoyed it despite the strong wind. Good course through the surrounding countryside. Will do again next year. It's a good challenge with some elevation in place places. Highly recommended.

Despite the weather being terrible, it was a great race. The course was nice and flat and I can't speak highly enough of all the marshals who were incredibly supportive, helpful and enthusiastic in the pouring rain! There was a bit of an issue with traffic getting in but once we arrived at the muddy carpark you could see why.
