Is the course navigation difficult, or is it waymarked?

All routes are fully waymarked with clear direction markers and arrows. GPX route files are also provided in advance if you prefer to navigate via watch or phone.

How and when do I get my race bib?

All bibs are collected at the event. Nothing is posted out ahead of time.

Can I run with my dog?

Yes, one well-behaved dog is welcome per participant.

Is there any mandatory kit required?

Kit requirements vary by race distance and weather conditions. See “Mandatory Kit” section below.

What is your cancellation or transfer policy?

You can claim a full refund within 30 days of booking (so long as booked more than 60 days away from the date), transfer to another location or distance up to 30 days before the race, or transfer your entry to a friend up to 14 days out.

Are headphones allowed during the race?

Headphones are permitted, but must be removed at road crossings, marshal points, and designated safety zones so you can hear instructions clearly.

What is the mandatory kit list?

The following must be carried on your person at all times: Min. water carrying capacity (cup, bottle or bladder) 500ml Windproof jacket Mobile phone*¹ Base layer top*⁴ Headwear (cap/Buff/hat) Basic 1st aid kit*² Foil Blanket We reserve the right to make amendments to the mandatory kit requirements based on the weather forecast for the event. Any changes will be posted on the Updates tab of the event webpage. A kit check will be carried out either before or after the event and the consequence of failing to carry the mandatory kit will either be a 10 minute time penalty or a disqualification, depending on the item missing. Failure to carry a water vessel, a windproof jacket or mobile phone when mandated will automatically result in disqualification. *¹ With the event safety mobile phone number stored *² Minimum : 1 sterile dressing, 1 antiseptic wipe and 2 plasters. *⁴ Long sleeved thermal garment.

What is the recommended kit list?

This event is located in a remote and exposed location with little shelter. Do not underestimate how cold and wet it could be. Please bring warm and waterproof clothes with you. We recommend that you carry the following items with you (if not already specified in the Mandatory kit list above): Trail shoes (highly recommended). We have stopped this being a mandatory kit item as, with the growing market of crossover shoes it has become impossible for us to reasonably vet. Not only will you have a safer event, but you will have a more enjoyable experience if you have appropriate footwear - hence we encourage all participants to wear trail shoes.
