Get ready for an exhilarating challenge at the Faccombe Backyard Ultra, hosted by AND-OVER Trail Events on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in the picturesque Andover, Hampshire. This endurance event is not for the faint-hearted! Participants will tackle a grueling 4.167-mile loop with an elevation gain of 750 feet, all while racing against the clock in a thrilling last-person-standing format. With no predetermined finish time, the ultimate goal is to be the last one standing, making it one of the toughest backyard ultras in the world!
The event kicks off at 6:00 PM, following registration and a race briefing, and continues as long as participants can complete each loop within the hour. Every lap presents a fresh challenge on established off-road tracks, complete with cheeky hills that will test your limits. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow athletes, as crews are welcomed, and indulge in hot drinks and fresh water throughout the event. The winner will not only receive a bespoke medal and trophy but also entry to a silver event! And-Over Trail Events brings you Faccombe Backyard Ultra. Endurance running at its best. A last person standing event with NO FINISH TIME JUST ONE FINISHER. Rumoured to be one of the toughest Backyards in the world.
DISTANCE AND ELEVATION.
4.167 miles.
750 ft elevation per lap.
TIMES.
Car park and campsite opens at 1400 hrs.
Registration opens at 1500 hrs.
Race briefing 1730 hrs.
The event starts @1800 hrs 5th July 2024 and goes on as long as you do.
Every hour, on the hour participants must start and complete a loop. If you don’t start or are late or don’t finish a loop within the hour then your race is over. The quicker you complete a loop the longer you get to rest, but go out too quick and you WILL BURN YOURSELF OUT. Careful planning is the key. The winner MUST complete one solo lap.
ROUTE.
The route is completely off road on a private estate. Really good established tracks with a few cheeky hills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
This event is a self supporting event. Crew are welcome throughout the event.
Hot water will be available with tea and coffee to hand. Fresh drinking water will also be available.
Winner will receive bespoke medal and winners trophy. Being a bronze event, the winner will also receive entry to a silver event.
Included in your ticket will be entry to the event, free parking for the entirety of the event and camping for you and 2 crew.
