Organiser's Description

Be part of something immeasurably special at the Folkestone Rotary Half Marathon.

This is a Partner race
This means that we are working with a host Partner Organisation and provide timing and/or race management services for their event.

Event Overview:
Whether you're a beginner or veteran, the ever popular Folkestone Half Marathon promises to be a fantastic day of running and a buzzing atmosphere. With amazing coastal views, this relatively flat promenade run offers real PB potential.

Any UKA-registered athlete 35 years or older competing in the half marathon is also eligible to run in the British Masters Championships via the link and win a championship medal in their 5-year age category.

Course Details:
This accurately-measured course starts on the Leas, heads down a steep hill onto the Road of Remembrance and through the coastal park before an out and back section to Hythe and back again.  There will be mile markers along the route and it will be fully marshalled.  Lead cyclists will precede the first runner and follow the last runner. Please be aware of any other promenade users as we do not have exclusive use.
