It's going to be a historic day of celebration in Gothenburg with a incredible atmosphere. Already the 2nd largest marathon in Sweden with 6800 participants already registered, the field is shaping up to be a complete sell out.

Course Details
The Göteborgsvarvet Marathon is a unique challenge, allowing you to experience the closed roads and city centre of one of Scandinavia’s most beautiful and vibrant cities.
The course is spectacular and split into two very different enjoyable loops. The first takes you out onto the classic Half marathon course hugging the river Göta, through the harbour and famous shipyard. The second takes runners into new territory on the closed roads of the city centre, along wide, stunning boulevards lined with support, before looping back to hero’s finish. Let’s get the party started.
