Organiser's Description

Held at the historic Sandford Parks Lido, the Hazlewoods Aquathlon incorporates a swim in the 50m outdoor heated main pool and a run through the centre of the Regency spa town of Cheltenham.

The short course option entails a 500m swim and 2.5km run, where as the long course option doubles the challenge with a 1,000m swim and 5km run.

As a registered charity at the heart of the community, each entry helps to makes a difference.

Course Details

A steady paced and relatively flat run course around the Lido and the General Hospital, situated just off the centre of Regency Cheltenham.

The race starts with a swim in the heated main pool of the lido followed by a fast, flat run on pavement, grass and parts of Sandford Park.

Parking

Free event parking is available on the right as you turn into the main Lido car park, by passing underneath a raised barrier into the 'essential user' car park.

FAQs

  • What time does it start?

    Long course starts at 7:00am, short course at 8.30am. These are rolling starts at ten second intervals between participants.

  • Is there free parking?

    Yes! Free event parking is avaliable on the right as you turn into the main Lido car park, by passing underneath a raised barrier into the 'essential user' car park.

BTF Licence

To participate in this event, you are required to become a member of British Triathlon and hold a race licence

A single race pass costs £2 for participants under 24 years old and is £8 for those aged 24 years and above
