This December you’re invited to join in the Festive Fun with this record-breaking 1k Fun Run, 5k and 10k Santa Run! 🎅
All participants will receive a superb Santa suit, spectacular Santa-themed medal, a marvellous mulled wine or splendid soft drink, magnificent mince pie (vegan & gf options available) and fabulous free race photos!

Course Details
1km Fun Run
The 1km fun run will complete 1 lap of a triangle around the traffic-free paths in the park. Any adults who have entered the 5k are welcome to join their children in the 1k Fun Run for free.
5km/10km Santa Dash
The 5km will complete a lap of the park before heading up a hill to the turnaround at our Santa’s Grotto (manned by Santa’s Elves) and the returning to the park and the finish. Those tackling the 10km will complete two laps of this course. The course is completely on traffic-free tarmac/cycle paths.

How to Get There
If coming by car please park in the public car park in Rosslyn Rd, Watford WD18 0JX and allow yourself 15 minutes to walk to Cassiobury Park. Parking restrictions will apply in the roads surrounding Cassiobury Park and traffic wardens will be monitoring all nearby roads

We are delighted to be supporting Watford Mencap. Your entry will include a donation (£5 for the 5k/10k and £3 for the 1k) to this amazing charity that believes people with a learning disability have the right to enjoy equal opportunities and be valued as members of society, enabling them to lead the life they want for themselves. They provide a range of services across SW Hertfordshire for around 600 people of all ages with a learning disability and their families and carers. Please consider adding an additional donation to your entry and/or creating a sponsorship page to support this important work. Your details will be passed to the charity for them to contact you about fundraising for their crucial work.

Minimum Age: 1k – no minimum age (under 8yrs must be accompanied by a full-paying adult) | 5k – 11yrs, age as of 04/12/2022 | 10k – 15yrs, age as of 04/12/2022
Changing and Bag Storage
We will not be providing a changing area, therefore please come changed and ready to race. There will be a baggage area provided.
Toilets
Toilets will be provided for the event.
Water Station
There are no water stations on the course however water will be available at the finish line.

Race numbers and Santa Suits will be collected at the event venue on the morning of the race.
Registration open from 08:30am
The detailed pre-race information will be sent to you by email in the week leading up to the event.
Please arrive in sufficient time to collect your race number and santa suit, but do not arrive before registration opens.
