In addition to the main race, there will be a children's fun run starting at 10:00 AM, ensuring a fantastic day for families and runners of all ages. The event begins on the seafront at the southern end of Lime Kiln car park, with clear directions provided from race headquarters, located at the northern end of the car park. All proceeds from this not-for-profit event will be donated to FORCE Cancer Charity, supporting vital local cancer services for over 20 years. Every participant will receive a medal upon finishing, and refreshments will be available at race HQ and the 5km mark. The Jurassic Coast 10k event will next take place on the 3rd of May 2025. The JC team are hoping to see you in 2025.
Not only is the run one of the most scenic 10k’s in the country, but everyone who works on the event gives up their time, experience and enthusiasm for free. To give you an idea of the day our friends at flymultimedia.co.uk made the following video of JC10k:
Jurassic Coast 10k is not for profit and all money raised is donated to FORCE Cancer Charity, a wonderful local charity that has played a vital role in local cancer services for over 20 years.
The race will start promptly at 11.00am. A children’s fun run will start at 10am.
Please note the start will be on the seafront at the south end of Lime Kiln car park. Clear directions will be provided from race HQ.
JC10k HQ will be at the north end of the Lime Kiln Car Park, adjacent to the childrens playground and in front of Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club. This is also where the race ends.
All finishers will receive a medal and basic refreshments will be available at Race Headquarters and at 5km.
The JC request runners do not wear head phones for safety and courtesy to others runners that may want to pass or hear marshal instructions. No Dogs are allowed to join runners.
