Join us for the return of the much-loved Wolverhampton 10k in 2026! The route will start and finish in the Molineux Stadium, the home of Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers. The remainder of the course will be on flat closed roads around Wolverhampton making it perfect for a PB or to tackle 10k for the first time. I have to praise the staff and volunteers on the day, the run itself with the closed roads was well marshalled and the atmosphere out on the run was just amazing again (3rd time doing the event), but the organisation was shambolic, the worst I've experienced for a timed run (still no official result or time).
The facilities made available to 2.5k runners were inadequate (blocked non-flushing toilets) causing lengthy cues & frustration. The baggage area was chaotic and took over half an hour to get our bags back after the run, we like most others never received our running packs so had to queue for a temporary number.
We like attending the RunThrough events, they are usually excellent but this was a catalogue of failures & poor decision making.
