Organiser's Description

The annual Kelly's Cycle Challenge (sportive) is back! Enjoy a spectacular 72, 50, 23 or a special 10 mile ride this year to celebrate the 10th year of the Cycle Challenge! You'll cycle through the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside, enjoying stunning scenery along the way in this wonderful cycling sportive.

Or you can choose the 5 mile family ride through the wonderful Alice Holt Forest, complete with an optional treasure trail (and a prize for completing!). It's the perfect way to enjoy a family bike ride together whilst having some fun in the great outdoors.

You can expect an exciting and challenging ride, surrounded by fellow fundraisers and a fun and positive atmosphere! Our friendly marshals will also be on the route to help encourage you along! This feel-good cycling challenge is a fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors whilst raising a bunch of money!

Kelly's Storage cover all costs so 100% of all money raised goes to Challengers - a local charity providing fun and play for disabled children.

Course Details

All road routes are fully accessible. The 5 mile family ride is part road part gravel, so requires multi-terrain / mountain bikes. All routes offer a challenge to riders but you'll be rewarded with stunning countryside views and villages.

Feed Stations
There are feed stations along the 23 mile route (1 station), 50 mile route (2 stations) and the 72 mile route (2 stations + 1 cafe), where you will be able to top up your water and enjoy some delicious treats.

For the 10 mile route and above, the minimum age to take part alone is 16 years old. If an under 16 wishes to participate, a waiver needs to be signed by the parent/guardian and they must stick together at all times.

How to Get There

By Car: Alice Holt Forest is located a few miles south of Farnham on the A325 and approximately 1 mile south of Birdworld. From the A31 turn off at Farnham onto the A325. Stay on the A325 for approximately 4 miles. From Portsmouth and Petersfield take the A325 towards Farnham. At the Halfway House Pub on the A325 turn off the main road following signs for Alice Holt Forest. The entrance is 300 yards along this road on the left where HQ and parking will be set up and sign posted. The post code is GU10 4LS.

By train: Alight at Bentley Station and take an approx. 2 mile walk or cycle to our HQ

By bus: Take the number 18 bus (between Aldershot and Haslemere) and get off at the stop after the petrol station in Bucks Horn Oak. Our HQ is a very short walk or cycle from here.
