Kick off your race day with the Half Marathon at 9:30 am, followed by the 10 Miles at 9:45 am, and then the 5k at 10:00 am. Young runners can join in the fun with the 1 Mile and Junior Race at 10:15 am, while the 10k will start at 10:30 am. With chip-timed mile splits to track your progress and the inspiring backdrop of a former London 2012 Olympic venue, you’ll be motivated every step of the way! Join us at the Lee Valley Velo Park Half Marathon, 10 Miles, 10k, 5k, 1 Mile & Junior Race on Saturday 19th December 2026

The Lee Valley VeloPark series returns on Saturday 19th December 2026, offering you a chance to run a Half Marathon, 10 Mile, 10k, 5k or Mile on this unique and gently undulating Moto GP styled circuit.

The Lee Valley VeloPark’s one-mile floodlit road circuit is the perfect course to test yourself over a new distance or check your pacing with each mile split chip timed for you to view after the race. As one of the London 2012 Olympic venues, you can’t help but feel inspired to give it your all on this course as we are there to cheer you all the way round to the finish!!

How to Get There

Competitors are advised to take the train to either Stratford Station Stratford International, or Hackney Wick station, and walk to the event village, where marshals will be present to direct. Competitors are advised that there is strictly no parking in the Swimming Centre Car Park. For those that do choose to drive, there are spaces available at both Lee Valley Velo Park and Westfield’s Car Park.

Baggage
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We have tear off baggage labels at the bottom of your race number that can be attached to your bag. To collect, all you have to do is hand over your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your belongings.

Refreshments
There is a water station at the end of every lap, and you will be able to enjoy water, snacks and flapjacks after the race. There is also a cafe on site.

Very well organised and friendly staff. The weather conditions were scorching hot, but there was plenty of water available which massively helped.

Good run and well organised. I think the loops would get very repetetive for a half marathon but great for 10k.

First event and thoroughly impressed. Great communication before the event and on arrival. Race organisation was impressive, especially considering the multiple distances going on simultaneously. First class. Very smooth at the finish and no queues. Brilliant unique course - and didn't mind the rain. Look forward to doing more.

Alison enjoy her run so much, she especially enjoyed having people along the way cheering her on. The medal was the best part of the race, she has now set a goal of 100 races to get more medals. The snacks were a lovely touch. Thank you to all the team who made our first race so much enjoyable.

Monotonously boring. It’s a mentally draining course with 13 laps And frankly overpriced for what you get. Without some form of watch technology it’s difficult to remember how many laps you have done. There are far better courses available for the cost, I certainly won’t be rushing back

I enjoyed the race. I enjoyed the race. All was arranged when I got there and just had to get ready and run. There were runners at all levels so was a good flow where you could run at your own pace or follow others to push for better times.
