Llandudno Easter 5K Promenade Dash

Llandudno, Conwy

The Promenade, Llandudno, Conwy

Sat 20th April 2019

Starting at 11:30

Organiser's Description

This fast and flat 5k Dash along the prom in Llandudno is now firmly established on the local running calendar. Once again, there will be Easter eggs and other seasonal goodies on offer plus a medal waiting for you at the finish. It's a good chance to record a PB, and for beginners it's a nice, flat introduction to 5k races. The event also includes a short children’s race.

Course Details

The race will start on the promenade opposite the Iris Hotel. Participants will head out towards the Great Orme and back past the start and finish towards the Little Orme. The course is accurately measured and holds a certificate of course accuracy.

The route will be clearly marked using large route arrows, as well as being marshalled throughout. Please note that even though the route is run on the promenade we do not have exclusive use of the promenade and there will be other users on the route. We ask that you give way to pedestrians on the route.

How To Get There

The Llandudno Easter 5k takes place on the promenade adjacent to the Iris Hotel and is accessible by car, train and, of course, by bicycle and on foot. Parking is located along the promenade on a first come first served basis with additional parking located in the town.

The Race HQ is located in the centre of the promenade and is clearly visible once on the promenade. When driving to the event head along Conway Road and follow the signs to the seafront.

There is a railway station located in the centre of Llandudno. Once you leave the station, head down Vaughan Street towards the seafront and you will see the Race HQ at the exit of Vaughan Street.
