The Lyme Park Half Marathon, organised by BigFeat Events, is set to take place on Sunday, 2nd July 2023 in the picturesque grounds of Lyme Park in Stockport, Cheshire. This challenging trail event offers participants stunning views and a friendly atmosphere, making it a must-do for any running enthusiast. The course, which is fully marked and marshalled, includes 2 well-stocked aid stations and finishes with a bespoke medal for all finishers. Starting at Medieval Lyme Hall, runners will follow the Gritstone Trail south, taking in breathtaking scenery along the way. The route then leads runners up Kerridge Ridge, past White Nancy landmark, and through Bollington before returning to Lyme Park. Don't miss out on this unforgettable event!

After our incredible inaugural event last year, we return with our stunning and challenging half marathon distance trail event starting and finishing in the beautiful National Trust grounds of Lyme Park, Cheshire.
With amazing views, and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, this event is definitely one not to be missed! This beautiful course will be fully marked and marshalled with 2 well stocked aid stations and a bespoke medal awaits you at the finish!
From the spectacular backdrop of Medieval Lyme Hall, the run starts out following the Gritstone Trail south over remarkable terrain, where the views stretch on for miles around. The route then traverses you up and along Kerridge Ridge, past the famous White Nancy landmark and then on to Bollington. Here you join the Macclesfield Canal for a flatter section back towards Lyme Park and the finish.

This beautiful course is a true mix of undulating countryside with some fast, flat sections near the end.

This was my first race, some tough hills but worth it for the stunning views! Well organised and sign posted.
