Organiser's Description

2016 sees the 3rd Chester Metric Marathon, run on the same day as the Marathon. This is a 26.2k (16.3mile) race, which is the ideal stepping stone from a half marathon to a full marathon. Starting at Chester Racecourse runners set off through the City before heading out to Aldford, where they meet up with the full marathon runners, returning to Chester for a spectacular joint finish at the Racecourse. Also 1 mile mini marathon.
