Organiser's Description
The Mortimer 10km is back again on Easter Monday in 2026. As always, the race will start & finish on Mortimer Fairground, and we have a canicross entry option for those wishing to run the 10km with their dog(s).
Our multi terrain 10km course takes in the beautiful local woodlands, using footpaths and bridleways. The course is undulating and uneven in places, therefore not suitable for pushchairs/buggies or wheelchairs.

Course Details
A beautiful two lap course starting & finishing in the centre of the village of Mortimer. The course is undulating, taking in trails through forestry and a nature reserve.

Well organised, good parking, good facilities etc.
Marshall's were all great, and the course signage was excellent.

Great event, well staffed and the course was clearly signposted with markers dotted at key points. The course was beautiful with minimum tarmac which was perfect for me. I would suggest getting there early so you can get parking close by.

Absolutely fantastic morning at the Mortimer 10k! Thank you to all the course Marshall’s and other volunteers, really well run and a very picturesque course, given the weather it was actually pretty dry underfoot.
