This half-marathon leaves Campbeltown, close to the beautiful Mull of Kintyre, and runs through the countryside, across the Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course and a stretch on the hard sandy beach of Westport. The race has grown in popularity due to its picturesque location, fantastic atmosphere and post-race celebrations which include ceilidh dancing! It has been voted by Runners World as the UK’s top race for the last 4 years, and sells out very quickly. Includes junior races. Also known as the Mokrun.
