Join us for the Open Water Lions Charity Swim (OWLS) on Saturday, August 7th, 2021, at the stunning Bowmoor Sailing Club in Lechlade, Gloucestershire! Swimmers of all abilities are welcome to participate in a timed 3km race for the coveted "John Sheffield Trophy," or take on personal challenges of 3km, 2km, or 1km distances. If you're new to open water swimming, don't miss the popular 250m taster session! Participants must be competent swimmers aged 12 and up, with those aged 12 to 18 requiring parental consent. Ensure you register, wear the provided swim cap, and consider donning a wetsuit for the optimal experience. Dive in and make a splash for a great cause!

Breaking news, we have a VIP starting the race and awarding medals!
This is our third Lions Charity Swim, all funds to Lions Charities. Held at the amazing Bowmoor Sailing Club with the cleanest water in the Cotswolds! A timed 3km Race or a personal challenge (3,2,1 km) it’s up to you! We also have the very popular 250m taster for those new to Open Water Swimming!
The event is open to competent swimmers, capable of swimming at least 500metre. The event is for swimmers over the age of 12. For swimmers aged 12 to 18, parental consent must be given. All swimmers must be registered for the event and must wear the swimming cap as provided. We advise wet suit.
