Piglove By The River 10km & 5km

Come join us for our evening event at the amazing Piglove By The River. A lovely beer garden in the heart of Citu’s Climate Innovation District, where you can grab a picnic bench and admire the views with a pint of Piglove Brewing Co’s creative craft brews after you’ve run the race of course. It’s the perfect spot for sunny evenings.

THE COURSE

5km - The race starts at Piglove and follows the Trans Pennine Trail for 2.5km and turns around just before Thwaite Mills. This is a very fast and flat course with very good quality footpath conditions.

10km (BST) - This Follows the same path as the 5km but continues past Thwaite Mills and then gets ever so slightly more rugged but is still very good fast running conditions. As it follows the river it is incredibly flat, however, there is one small bridge with steps that must be crossed.

10km (GMT) - The night 10km route will be double the 5km route, turning round at 2.5km just before Thwaite Mills.

Both turnaround points will be clearly marked and marshalled.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

All finishers will receive a drink courtesy of Piglove Brewery. All medals and tees are sold as optional extras upon entry. This is to reduce our impact on the environment, and to make our races more affordable for everyone.

MANDATORY KIT

Headtorches are required for our Autumn "By Night" event.

Depending on whether we might make some gear mandatory, however, this is unlikely.

CitiPark Leeds Dock, Armouries Drive LS10 1LE. Piglove is a stone’s throw from Granary Wharf, Royal Armouries and Leeds Station. We always like to encourage all local runners to come via foot, bicycle or public transport. Please plan your journey to allow time to get to race HQ.
