Organiser's Description
Plymouth Triathlon returns to Mount Edgcumbe for 2026.
We'll be working closely with Plymouth Tri Club & the team at Mount Edgecumbe to deliver a fantastic event at an amazing venue that's just a short ferry ride from the centre of Plymouth.
The sea swim is sheltered with land on both sides. The tough bike is on rolling roads but with some stunning sea views along the way. The final runs, based on a 5K lap, are around the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe.
Distances we are offering Middle, Standard & Sprint.

Great event, well organised. Race description is spot on. Not a race for the faint-hearted as plenty of elevation in bike and run! Swim was pan flat, beautiful location. Plenty of fuelling and rehydration products at the feed stations on the run. Very friendly marshals and staff. Good to have some quality events in South Devon. Just need a bigger field of participants now! Kudos to Sportiva!
