The Haldon Night 10k & 5k
The Haldon Night 10k & 5k runs start and finish next to the main Haldon Forest car park, near the Ridge Cafe in Bullers Hill, Exeter. The running surface is generally fairly smooth, so ideal for beginners and fast runners alike. Dogs on a lead are permitted at this race!
Also children's races - 2k for ages 8-11 years and 1k for under 8s. Parents are welcome to run with their kids in either race, for no additional charge. Runners must bring a head torch.
This event is part of the 2019/20 Wild Night Run Series.

Travelling by car on the A38 turn off at the exit for Exeter Racecourse (there are no slip roads for this turning). Follow the signs for Haldon Forest Park. The Haldon car park is signposted further along the road on the left.
Our postcode for SatNav is EX6 7XR. Make sure you look out for the Haldon blue banners directing you to the car park. Please do not drive up the first entrance labelled 'Office Car Park'.
By Public Transport
The nearest bus stop is at Exeter Racecourse (1 mile away). Take Bus 39 from Exeter Bus Station.
The Exeter Racecourse stop is between the ‘Countess Wear Roundabout’ and ‘Chudleigh Memorial’ and is just opposite the Route 5 restaurant on the A38 dual carriage way.
NB: There is no bus stop on the opposite side of the dual carriage way. To return to Exeter City Centre from the Racecourse you have to get on a 39 bus to Chudleigh Memorial and change there to get on another 39 bus back to the city centre.
Exeter St David's railway station has services to London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Plymouth, Paignton, Exmouth, Barnstaple and stations in between.

Registration for all races is at 3.30pm
Start time for 1k and 2k children's races is 5pm
Start time for 5k and 10k races is 6pm
Cut off for all races is 7.40pm
Age limit for 5k is 12+ yrs
Age limit for 10k is 16+ yrs
We have an optional team competition. If you don’t have a team, use your club name which will also qualify for the team competition. The team’s time is the time of the first three team members to cross the line added together.
Your best 4 results count for Series Points. However if you only manage two or three races you’ll still appear in the results
