Organiser's Description

Looking for more of a challenge without any pressure? Race for Life 10k is for you! Our 10k events are now chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best – while you’re raising funds to help beat cancer. 10k is just over 6 miles. Take it at your own pace or push yourself a little more. Have fun with it and enjoy the atmosphere.

How to Get There

By car:
General Event Parking: Parking will be available at Pittodrie Stadium, about a 10 minute walk from the main event area. Follow directions from stewards and signage on the day.
Blue Badge Parking: There is a limited number of disabled parking available in the car park next to Aberdeen Cycle Hub which is located next to the event site.
Volunteer Parking: There is no designated volunteer parking. Please use general event parking.
Drop Offs: The drop off area is located on the corner of Golf Road and School Road, please follow direction from stewards.
Electric Charging points: There are none available at this event.


Public transport and pedestrians:
Pedestrians: All entrances will be open along the esplande to access the event site.
Bus: There are a number of buses that service the Beach Ballroom and Pittodrie Stadium, both of which are approximately 5 minute walks from the start line. Visit travelinescotland.com for help with planning your journey.
Train: The closest train station is Aberdeen train station
Cycling & Bike Racks: There nearest bike racks areoutside of linx ice arena.
