Course Details

The Basingstoke 10k route is a double lap of the 5k route and takes in all the fields and tracks around War Memorial Park.

The course begins in front of the car park, heads south along the cycle route along the edge of the park. Entering the field behind Crowne Plaza and back towards the football pitches, heading towards the car park. It continues further going around the War Memorial Park and towards the finish, near the childrens play area.

The course is mostly flat but with mixed terrain and a small incline near the end.

The course is a mixture of paths and grass, which can get boggy and wet in wet weather conditions.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Further Information

Unfortunately this event is not deemed suitable for wheelchair or pushchair users. The course is all on grass which can become boggy in poor weather and in some sections of the course there are narrow paths which are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

For any spectators with wheelchairs who wish to access the start and finish area, there is blue badge parking about 150m from the event site but please be aware that the route between the two is entirely on grass, which may be boggy in wet weather.
