Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

How to Get There

Free Parking is available at the Racecourse, please follow steward direction and access to the start line is through Gate 21.

The nearest train station is Cheltenham and is about an hour's walk away.

For local buses please refer to the Stagecoach website: https://www.stagecoachbus.com/timetables.

Course Details

The Cheltenham Pretty Muddy route starts in front of the Grandstand before it runs along the perimeter of the racecourse out towards the helipad and surrounding fields. The Pretty Muddy event has our fun obstacles throughout the route to do together.

A picturesque venue in the heart of the Cotswolds and a perfect place to take part in Pretty Muddy.

Please arrive 15 to 20mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Further Information

Whilst this event is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible for spectators with wheelchairs. There are blue badge holder parking spaces close to Gate 21 (approx. 90 metres from the event site). The start and finish area is on hardstanding, as is the route from the blue badge parking area.

Meeting Point Information

The meeting point is on the grass area alongside Seven Sisters Road, approximately half way between Finsbury Gate and Manor Gate entrances to the park.

Event Day Information

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
