Race for Life Derby 5k

By car: General Event Parking: There will be car parking available at the Mundy Play Centre car park and at The University of Derby Kedleston Road Car Park. Please follow event signs and stewards. Spaces are limited as such we advise car sharing and normal charges apply. Please note there is a 10 minute walk from the event car parks to the event site, please arrive in plenty of time to get parked and walk to the event site before your start time. Drop Offs: Participants can be dropped off at either venue car park - Marketaon Car Park and the Mundy Play Centre car park. Blue Badge Parking: There will be blue badge parking available at Markeaton Park car park and the Mundy Play Centre car park. Spaces are limited and normal charges apply. Please follow the event signs. Volunteer Parking: Volunteer parking is available at Markeaton Car Park. Details regarding this will be sent prior to the event permitting you have registered to volunteer online. Please follow the event signs. Electric Charging points: No charging points available at the event. The nearest charging point can be found at The Markeaton, Kedleston Road, Derby, East Midlands, DE22 2TF. Public transport and pedestrians: Pedestrians: Further details will be added shortly, please check back in a few weeks. Bus: There are multiple bus routes that pass Markeaton Park. As such we advise you check your local bus timetable for your best route. Train: The nearest station is Derby Train Station, which is around a 25 minute walk to the main event site. As such we recommend getting a taxi or sharing with friends from the station. Cycling & Bike Racks: There are none available at this event.

The start and finish is on the large grass field in the centre of the park just a short walk down from the Café and Tennis courts. If using what3words, enter ///solid.rental.crop in the free app, to find the exact starting point.

Bring along as many supporters as you like to cheer you on! We’ve got things for everyone to do. After you've completed the course, stay on and celebrate with other participants, friends and family with a picnic in the park.
