Organiser's Description

Climb, crawl and slide your way around the Pretty Muddy® obstacle course at your own pace. 5k is just over 3 miles and can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time – it's all designed for fun! Get muddy as an individual or with a group of friends or family, act like a big kid and raise money for life-saving cancer research.

How to Get There

Due to the city centre location, there is no event parking available for this event. Please use public transport or city centre car parks when travelling to this event.

Bike racks are situated on Middle Meadow Walk.

Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users. There is a hard standing path around the perimiter of the park, which will allow spectators in wheelchairs or pushchairs to view the obstacles. The main event site is on grass.

The meeting point is the grass area to the East of the main pathway(Middle Meadows Walk) through The Meadows.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.



Do to the nature of this event - no dogs are allowed to take part.



If you feel you might need extra help at the event please do pick up a special badge at the Blue Enquires Marquee so that our crew and volunteers can look out for you.
