Organiser's Description

Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

How to Get There

Please follow the brown signs for the venue 'National Water Sports Centre' . There is car parking at the venue and stewards will be in place to direct you to specific car parks. Please allow time to walk to the start line as this is about 15-20 minutes from the car parking areas around the regatta lake to the start area.

There is a car parking charge for the event £5 payable per car on arrival with the venues ANPR system. Parking arrangements are subject to change.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Course Details

The course starts and finishes next to the Regatta Lake and follows the path around for about 2km before entering the woodland and meadow areas around the venue. The course is a mix of terrain with some path, grass and woodland trails, a fairly flat course but there are some inclines and naturally boggy areas.

Please arrive 15 to 20mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

The event is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the obstacles.

The event site, start and finish line is in front of Graves Park Animal Farm, near the Rose Garden Café

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
