Mojo Active's "Muddy Madness" Obstacle run 5k, 2k

There will be two distances on the day:

5K course (for adults and children 7 years+) which features mud pits, tunnels, ditches mud slides, leopard crawls, water pits, tyre obstacles and straw bale climbs.

2K course (for adults and children 5 years +) which includes a short section through an optional shallow stream and some muddy ditches.

(All children under 13 years will need to be accompanied on the course by an adult with a maximum of 2 children per adult).

There will be marshals along each course cheering and encouraging you on. Spectators are very welcome and there will be additional activities on site.

*Climbing Wall - a free go for participants (ages 5yrs+): at 7m tall, our rock-climbing tower enables you to enjoy the realistic experience of an extreme sport. It has a range of handholds so you can tailor your climb from beginner to more challenging routes to the top. Up to four people can climb at the same time so it is great for competitions or just for fun.

*Archery - a free go for participants (ages 8+): Hold your nerve and go for gold at our purpose-built target archery facility. Whether this is your first time or you are regular competitors, our instructors will help you hone your skills and achieve pinpoint precision. During a session, our instructors will teach you the basics of archery and you will have ample opportunity to score that elusive bulls-eye!

There will be 3 staggered start times. You will be invited to select your preferred wave when booking:

10:00am for runners & walkers
10:30am for runners & walkers
11:15am Dog-friendly wave. You are welcome to run/walk either course with your well-behaved dog (on lead). Dogs not permitted in earlier waves.

Spectators are very welcome as are well behaved dogs on leads (dogs are not permitted with spectators on the course). All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult (max. 2 children per adult). Friendly marshals will be along the course to cheer you on!

This year, Mojo Active is proud to support Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Blood Bike Service, a local charity providing a vital, free out-of-hours motorcycle courier service to hospitals across the South West of England.

For every entry to the Mojo Muddy Madness Run, we’ll donate £1 directly to Freewheelers. They’ll also have a stand at the event, so please bring along some loose change to pop in their collection pots and help support their incredible work.

In 2020–21, during the peak of Covid, Freewheelers made 7,792 deliveries, covering over 225,000 miles. Since then, demand has only increased, and in the 12 months to March 2025, they’ve completed 8,240 deliveries.

Their slogan, “Riding For Life” perfectly sums up their mission, helping save lives, reducing NHS costs, and giving back to the community, all while doing something they love: riding.
