This event was really good, we got to ride on closed off motorways and nice country roads all the way to the Essex/Suffolk boarder and back. It was great cycling in central London without the traffic and there were plenty of rest stops provided which gave out refreshments and saw to mechanical problems. The only issues I had were with pedestrians crossing parts of the course inappropriately and when we got the the main rest stop in Felsted there were only two coffee vans operational when there should have been 6, this meant that we were waiting in a very long queue for 20 minutes or more for coffee when we could have been back on the road.
