You’ll enjoy an award-winning atmosphere in an accessible, central location, glorious scenery, and closed road routes.
The Half Marathon boasts unparalleled PB potential and follows a professionally marked and measured single loop from central Woking into the surrounding countryside. The 5K features some of the Half Marathon’s best bits – including starting and finishing under the main event gantry.
This picturesque race is made even more popular by live performances from local bands, aid stations and communities of cheering spectators, and boasts one of the fastest half marathon finish times on record!

My first Surrey half marathon, superbly organised by Runthrough. Plenty of amenities at the race village, plenty of helpers at bag drop. I think following the pacers in to the start pen, is a good approach. I would describe the 2025 route as rolling (not hilly). Good support around the route and the out and back at miles 10 and 11 lifts the spirit. Will be on my list for next year.
What a run!!! Amazing route for the half marathon, organisation was absolutely exceptional, and all in all the day was just fabulous. Would highly recommend doing this route/event/race. Hats off to the organisers. (Ps, was just a slight pain to drive OUT back towards Brighton until at least an hour after the race)
