How to Get There

There is no parking at the venue so please use town centre car parks. The roads around the venue can get very busy so please allow time to get to and from the venue. There are limited disabled spaces at The Quarry Leisure Centre car park.

Course Details

The Shrewsbury course will take you around the grounds of The Quarry using the tarmac paths and some of the grassed areas along the river. The course is wheelchair friendly but assistance will be needed due to the grassed areas. The course is mainly flat but does have some inclines.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Further Information

The first km of this course is across grass where some wheelchair users may require assistance. The rest of the course takes place on wide open paths.

The start and finish lines are located in front of Hopetoun House.

Event Day Information

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single use plastic bottles.
