Organiser's Description

The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to walk on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Go at your own pace to help fund life-saving cancer research.

How to Get There

Pedestrians: You can use any of the entrances into Cassiobury Park and make your way to the "Lebanon Tree".



General Event Parking: There is no parking available on the day at Cassiobury Park - please use public transport where possible or one of the Watford town centre car parks approx. 15 minute walk to the event site.



Blue Badge Parking: Please talk to a steward on arrival at Cassiobury Park for directions to park.



Drop Offs: There is no designated drop off point at this venue.



Public Transport: All forms are readily available



Bus: 352 W30 drop off pick up at the underground station - approx. 5 minute walk to the event site



Train: Watford Underground station is located outside of the park approximately 5 minutes walk to the event site. Watford Junction overground station is located in the centre of town approx. 25 minute walk to the event site.



Electric Charging points: Public Charging Station, Rosslyn Rd, Watford WD18 0JX - approx. 1.7 miles away



Cycling Bike Racks: Bike racks can be found near the Daisy cafe/hub in the centre of the park or round by The Cha Cafe near the tennis courts.

Further Information

The route is wheelchair accessible with assistance due to a grass up hill section on the course, uneven surfaces with tree roots and narrow paths along the back of the park/course. The terrain changes throughout the course from grass to tarmac, and assistance may be required.
