The Welwyn and Hatfield 10k is a double lap course set within the grounds of the beautiful Stanborough Park and is on a mixture of cross-country terrain and paved pathways. As well as some bumpy sections, the route includes a couple of challenging uphill and downhill slopes.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

There will be a water refill station at approx. 5km and at the finish, but please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle as we will not have any plastic bottles at the event.

Due to the mixed terrain and a number of inclines and declines, this event is deemed unsuitable for wheelchair users. For 2023, we have had to change the course to incorporate the field above the north car park and splash park, which is particularly steep.

For spectators, there will be blue badge parking available in the south car park. Please be aware that the event site is on grass.

The nearby Stevenage Race for Life is deemed suitable for wheelchair users.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
