How to Get There

There is limited parking at River Park Leisure Centre so please use city centre car parks on the day. North Walls Recreation Ground is a short walk from the centre of town.

Course Details

Winchester 5k is a two lap course - starting in North Walls Recreation Grounds, participants will head out towards River Park Leisure Centre and loop around the recreational grounds before crossing over to the grounds of Winchester Rugby Club. From here, the route heads down Nuns Walk which continues onto the second lap. Towards the end of the second lap, the route re-enters North Walls Recreation Ground via Nuns Walk, finishing back at the start line.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Further Information

The Winchester course is mainly on grass around the fields of North Walls Recreation Ground and Winchester Rugby Club. There is a section of the route just before 4km of a short relatively steep incline on uneven grass. Due to these elements we deem the route as suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.
