This mixed-terrain Ultra marathon offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty and challenging terrains, including quiet roads, rugged coastal paths, and stunning forest trails. With fully supported pit stops providing food, drink, and first aid, participants can enjoy a generous 15-hour cut-off, making it an ideal race for both newcomers and seasoned ultramarathoners alike. As you run, keep an eye out for Scotland's remarkable wildlife, including deer, seals, and even the chance to spot dolphins or whales!

70km, 7 beaches. The ultimate Run Rugged adventure.

Over this 70km mixed-terrain course, you'll visit 7 stunning beaches, including the world-famous Achmelvich Beach.

Along the way, you'll see ancient forests, rugged mountains and pristine Highland Lochs.

Fully supported pit-stops, with food, drink, first aid and amazing support - along with a generous 15 hour cut-off - make this the perfect Ultra for beginners and veterans alike.

You'll run along quiet scenic roads, rough forest trail, rugged coastal footpaths and on some of Scotland finest sandy beaches.

If you're not too busy looking at the stunning scenery, you can look out for our stunning wildlife - expect deer, seals, Highland cows, dolphins and (if you're really lucky), whales.

Taking advantage of our long summer daylight hours, even those taking the full 15 hours will get the benefit of full daylight throughout.

Make a holiday out of it - we're on Scotland's famous NC500 touring route - in fact, you'll be running on parts of it. There'll be plenty of accommodation available in the local area, as well as wonderful restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.
