The ocean stretches into the distance under a partly cloudy sky. A river flows through a forested landscape with tall evergreen trees under a partly cloudy sky. The water is dark and slightly rippled, and the banks are lined with greenery and shrubs. A shaggy brown Highland cow with long curved horns grazes on green grass in a field, surrounded by patches of plants and uneven ground. A stone cairn with a concrete trig point stands on grassy terrain overlooking cliffs, sea, and distant hills under a partly cloudy blue sky. A sandy beach with clear blue water, a few people swimming, rocky hills in the background, and a person walking near a kayak on the shore under a bright, sunny sky. A winding road cuts through a rugged, grassy landscape with rolling hills and distant mountains under a blue sky dotted with fluffy clouds.

Absolutely great event, from the start a great experience, great communication with back and forth emails with questions regarding kit and registration ect. Registration open the night before was a great addition and the team really put the effort in to make the event run smoothly. Checkpoints where well stocked with everything you could possibly want including your own drop bag, and a they provided a great atmosphere to suit. The route was well marked and provided GPX was accurate when we took a wrong turn. A very generous cut off made the event not feel so daunting for my first ultra and I'll definitely be back for more. Only suggestion would be for each beach to be marked with a small sign post just for the more remote beaches. Overall a great team who put on a great event. Thanks guys.

Extremely well organised ultra, in amazingly spectacular surroundings. The trails were stunning from the early tight gorge river side trail to the wide open white sand beaches and expansive seascape view from the cliffs. No prolonged climbs, and good mix of terrain to ensure no one type lasted too long. Way marking was excellent too, so this and a GPX file made everything easy to follow. The main aid station which we visited 3 times was the best stocked I've ever seen, and with so many friendly helpful race crew, it was a real lift every time we visited. Definitely one I'd repeat.

I've run many ultras, but this one really stood out. Small and friendly, great organisation, really well route marked (didn't need the map or gpx once), fantastic volunteers and aid stations and the wildlife and scenery were stunning. I hope it continues and stays small and keeps its charm. Top job!!

All the volunteers were lovely and super helpful. The check points had plenty food and drink laid out. Overall I had a great time and would love to come back. Highly highly recommend.
