Starting and the spectacular Hengistbury Head, this beautiful coastal route allows runners the rare opportunity to run along the iconic Bournemouth Pier, before finishing in the gorgeous Lower Gardens for a well-deserved ice cream!

Course Details
The Supersonic 10K is a fantastic flat & fast course, great for setting a quick time or for a chance to take in the stunning Bournemouth coastline at your own pace. Starting at the spectacular and beautiful Hengistbury Head, which forms the main division between Poole and Christchurch bays, the first 2km of the route makes its way along the cliff tops affording participants the very best views of the coast before dropping down onto the seafront.
You continue to take in the beautiful coastal views as you run along the promenade with Boscombe Pier in sight. During the run out to the end of Boscombe Pier at 7km, enjoy the feel of the wooden pier boards beneath you before you begin your final stretch on the promenade, alongside Bournemouth’s award winning blue flag beaches before you tread the boards of the second pier on the route, Bournemouth Pier.
The Pier was first constructed in 1856 and has undergone numerous transformations over the years, with the addition of the Bournemouth Pier Theatre in 1959. Take it all in before you start your sprint finish through your much anticipated finish line on Bournemouth Pier Approach.
