I did the 5km which was really good fun! Mainly flat course, with only a few little hills so definitely PB worthy. Some bits can get quite narrow but once the race spreads out a bit, it’s ok. The pacers were a nice extra too!

Good event , easy to find starting location , very clear path on where to go and volunteers + staff were really encouraging as they supported the runners all the way to the finish line. My only minor complain is that for a 10k the race track was 4 laps so for some it can get a bit boring doing 4 laps but not the fault of the organisers it's likely the only area available.

Great event, very well organised and staff very professional. No issues running around on public footpaths as they were still in use, markers giving the kilometres along the route and marshals cheering everyone on. Really enjoyed it, only slight criticism my garmin watch was short by about 70 meters along the route so on the last lap had to nip through the cones to make up the distance otherwise would have ended short on my watch. Not sure what happened could have been me cutting corners or slight error in setting up the route either way fantastic event. Don’t be put off by the laps either as apposed to 1 long 10k route, plenty of support when completing each lap, music, water stations and everyone cheers, lovely stuff

Brilliant Finale to an amazing series. I did all five events in the Run Media City Series and they’ve all been outstanding! The event is exceptionally well organised. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and everything runs so smoothly and efficiently. Crowd support is wonderful too and it’s a fantastic place to get a PB. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every event in this series and I am looking forward to returning again next year! Thanks so much Run Through!

Great organisation. My first run booked through find a race and the team at Media City were excellent. Friendly, welcoming and on top of all aspects. The legs are hurting this morning but I'm so glad I did the race and the team there were a big part of that. Highly recommended!

Well organised and good route. This was my first 5K race and this course was perfect for it. Its mainly flat with only a couple of slight slopes so is good for those just starting to run or those wanting a quick time. Everything was easily set out with stewards giving direction and encouragement, and distance markers around the course.
Congrats on your first race!

Great run with views and support. This is a great 10K run comprising of 4 laps (bout an mile and half each) around the city, Running down the quays, Over the bridges and past some of the lovely bars and restaurants your senses get overloaded with smells and views all the way around. There's plenty of support from all the Marshalls and plenty of toilets and food shacks for spectators or for when you finish. Overall a good well mapped out course and well managed race. Great work

My favourite event. Run Media City never disappoints! It’s always an event I look forward to throughout the summer months. I’ve done April, May and June and will be doing July and August and I can’t wait. The support is great, the medals are great and there is always a welcoming and super friendly atmosphere. See you at the end of the month!

Fine for fun runners. Very poor layout. 4 laps of a course that was full of 90 and 180 turns. Never more than 300m in any straight. Fine for fun runners / people running their first race but no use as a serious race.

absolutely loved the experience. I absolutely loved the experience. This was my first time running a 10k and even though it was tough the encouragement from all the staff members helped you to complete the race. The atmosphere at the event was good not sure what words I would to describe it. Somewhat peaceful, relaxing . Definitely an event I look forward to doing in the very near future. Sooner rather than later.
