If you are exiting out of Stratford Underground Station – take escalator or lift up to ‘The Street’ (which is the outdoor part of Westfield Shopping Centre) – follow it along, bear right at Fountain Square toward John Lewis and then left at Jamie’s Italian. At the end of the passage, cross the road into the Park.

Setting out on a cold, misty morning I decided to take the underground to Stratford station. From there its about a 20 min walk to the starting line. Prepare yourself for at least 30 mins if you are not a fast walker. It would help if the walk crossing from Westfield could be sign posted. Collecting our numbers were quick and we got a Santa hat with our numbers. Bag storage was good and we had a pre race warm up. The event was well organised. Thank you to the Marshalls for their help.

A fun race to do! It was quite cold, but all volunteers were quite supportive and cheerful.
