Take on a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon at the Leeds Running Festival on Sunday 28th March 2027 and enjoy a memorable day of racing around the stunning Roundhay Park. As one of the biggest city parks in Europe, Roundhay Park offers a brilliant setting for a spring event, with over 700 acres of parkland, woodland, lakes, and gardens creating a scenic and varied backdrop from start to finish.

Whether you are chasing a new personal best, stepping up to a new distance, or simply looking for a rewarding race-day experience, this event offers something for every runner. There will be plenty of paid parking available around Roundhay Park, we suggest using the Mansion Car Park which is a short walk from the Event Village.

BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS
Portaloos in the event village.

REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

Wasn't a big fan of the fact that there was an overlap of the 10k runners with the half marathon ones (10k started just 1hr after the half marathon). The paths on roundhay aren't the biggest to accommodate 2 big running groups with different distance goals. Other than that it seemed well organised.

Fantastic morning in Roundhay Park. Probably the best event village I’ve experienced at these events. Great community feel. Gruelling course. Uphill section in the woods was tough! Looking forward to the next event.

Really a great day organised very well and a really enjoyable experience. There were lots of vendors food, drinks and the atmosphere was really good. Would definitely return and encourage people to do so as well.

Really enjoyed this race. It was relaxed but well organised with plenty of staff and pacers for all times. The trail was mostly paved footpath with some muddy patches. Good snacks at the end too!

First ever run event & half marathon, and couldn’t have had a better experience. The whole set up was great & the marshals were all so encouraging and lovely all the way around the course. Lovely venue & got very lucky with the weather. Will definitely be returning for another.

Good course, logistics really good. Poor medal, same one for all distances and poor good bag. Please don’t give nuts to nut allergy sufferers…
