I did the Salty Dog swim on the 6th August, very good in all aspects of briefing and organisation. My only gripe is that I found sighting extremely difficult due to the distance between the bouy’s hard to locate.

The race was very difficult, the weather didn't help at all ! Very challenging conditions, but the organization was spot on with toilets and changing room / showers available onsite, refreshments and cakes at the end were very welcome, and the smiles on the people's face priceless. One thing could have helped with the swim, more buoys to mark the course as from one end I couldn't see at all where the buoys at the other end were.

My first salty sea dog swim. Hello, This was my first sea swim yesterday and it was a brilliant experience. The organisation was excellent, bullhorn man was funny and easy to understand. Would I do another event? Yes Would I recommend Salty Sea Dog swims? Yes Once I did one lap and relaxed and stopped swallowing sea water I really enjoyed it! So - thank you for giving me the bug. πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ»
