From beautiful Barmouth beach to the summit of Cadair Idris and all the way back, this is a route to remember. Choose your challenge and enjoy smooth organisation, clear waymarking, and a finish that feels electric.
Expect a mix of coastal viewpoints, forest tracks, rocky paths, and open mountain trails. Settle into a steady rhythm on the ascents, flow on the descents, and soak up panoramic scenery from start to finish.

I've ran 7 marathons and over twenty endurance races. This is by far the most spectacular of them all. The views are incredible, the atmosphere electric and so friendly.
The only thing I'd change, staggered starts to avoid the queue on the first big climb over the bridge.
It wouldn't stop me doing it again.
Warning, it makes a marathon feel like a 10k.
