Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Spring Challenge Day 2, hosted by Running Events Devon! On Sunday, April 6th, 2025, join us in the beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, Devon, for a fantastic event that welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5.3k out-and-back route along an old disused train line, with a generous 7-hour time limit to complete as many laps as you can. Whether you aim to finish one lap, four laps for a half marathon, eight laps for a full marathon, or even push for an ultra distance with nine or more laps, everyone is celebrated as a finisher and will receive a coveted medal.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this inspiring event! With limited places available, we encourage you to secure your spot early. If we reach capacity, late entrants will still receive a bespoke medal of their choice from a selection available on the day. Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.
This event is being held on the 6th April 2025.
Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.
Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event. 1 lap is 5.3k so 4 laps will give you a half marathon, 8 laps will give you full marathon distance, 9 or more laps for an Ultra.
Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.
Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
**Please note ** we are sorry to say we have been inundated with entries, so therefore we are still accepting entries on the understanding you will receive a different bespoke medal, thank you for your understanding. Updated 16.03.25
