Event summary
Starting at 5 PM, the event encourages runners to embrace the magical atmosphere of sunset with head and chest torches, adding to the twinkling stars of the night. The well-maintained, hardstanding trail provides a scenic backdrop, and with 20% of entry fees supporting Forestry England, you're helping to preserve the beautiful forests and trails we all enjoy. Participants aged 16 and over can lace up their trail shoes and take part in this exciting evening event, with registration beginning at 4:15 PM and a cut-off time of 8 PM. Join us for a memorable race filled with camaraderie, stunning sights, and a whole lot of fun!

Organiser's Description
As this is a sunset / twilight event, head / chest torches are essential. Additional lights are encouraged; the more 'stars' the better!
Trail shoes are recommended but not essential as the track is hardstanding and well maintained.
20% of entry costs will go to Forestry England to support maintenance of the nation's forests and trails.
We will have an aid and drinks station at the start/finish, with a selection of savoury and sweet items. Please note we do not provide plastic cups; bring your own.
Toilets are available inside the cricket club as well as a space to leave bags.
Minimum age for our 5 mile event is 16 years and for our 10 mile event is 17 years.
Number pick-up is at race registration before you start the event. Registration is from 4.15. Final instructions will be sent out via email before the event with full information. Cut off is 8pm (3 hours).
Laps are a 2.5 mile, out and back, course. The 5 mile event is one lap and the 10 mile event is two laps.
This event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules.
