Organiser's Description

Come and join RunThrough for the Tatton 10k Series. This fast, undulating, road closed 10k race, set at the beautiful Tatton Park in Cheshire, is a perfect opportunity to set yourself a personal best over the 10k distance!

The race starts, runs around the roads inside, and finishes within the park grounds. This will be an accurately measured and chip timed 10k.

How To Get There

By Car – You will need to enter Tatton Park from Ashley Road, having turned off Mereside Road – PLEASE NOTE this is not a usual entrance to the Park. We will have marshals at the entrance from 6am.

Tatton Park is signposted from the M56 and M6. The entrance to the Park is approximately half a mile from Knutsford Railway station. It is then recommend to follow the postcode WA16 6QQ – only once you reach the Knutsford area.

By bike – Cycle racks are available at both main entrances to Tatton Park. Please ensure you do not lock your bike to any of the fences on the course.

Parking

Due to limited parking space, can we please ask you to arrive with plenty of time before the event, and wherever possible, please car share. On arrival, our team will be showing you to the car park. We will require your cooperation to get everyone safely parked on the facility in a timely manner.

Course Details

This one lap 10k route Is fast, undulating and unique for this event. The course is entirely within Tatton Park grounds.

Other Information

Race Numbers: All entries will be assigned a number. Your number will be assigned on the Friday before the event, if you remember this number it will make collection super quick on the day. To collect them you need to make your way down to the numbers desk between 7:00am – 8:20am. The earlier you get there, the more efficient we will be on the day.

Refreshments: There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and at the finish alongside some post race fruit and flapjacks!

During the race: We will have marshals all around the course as well as KM signs and arrows.

Results: Results will be available on www.tatton10k.com after the race.

Pictures: We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on Facebook after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.

I enjoyed this run. Its was well organised and the village area was set up lovely. Lots of toilets and a coffee & cake stall. The run around tatton park was beautiful

Amazing first race of 2022. Very well organised and despite the evil hailstones an amazing race was had! HUGE achievement for me following a total lack of running mojo since running London Marathon in October. Thank you so much to the organisers and excellent encouragement from the marshals!

Amazing First Race Back. Safe Covid friendly run. So well organised, it felt just like the old days with absolutely fabulous Marshals & volunteers. Tatton Park is a lovely course too I'll definitely be back & do more races with run-through in future thanks again

Tatton park 10k run 09/03/20. I’ve done this run several times over the last couple of years and it never disappoints.A course,which is well organised,nice for the beginner but also challenging enough for the experienced runner-highly recommended and I hope to run it again very soon

Excellent Event. I'm new to running having only completed 3 previous 10ks. This event was extremely well organised, from being well sign-posted, good car parking, well organised bib collections, supportive and informative marshals combined with beautiful scenery. The weather was fine during the race. It was an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I haven't run for 6 weeks following a fall and totally losing my confidence. This event has put me back on my feet! Thank you to everyone.

Tatton 10k - a great first race. This was my first 10k race after 4 years out of running due to illness - it was so well organised, and a very friendly atmosphere! I loved it andv have already booked on to the next race!

First attempt at the race. It was very well organised from the start. And even given Storm Ciara had decided to put in an appearance, the organisers decided it was safe to continue with the race. The course is undulating as described and very scenic. It’s extremely well marshalled and there’s plenty of volunteers to help if you need it. Lots of toilet facilities, a cafe, parking and refreshments. You wear your timing chip on your shoe. There are photographers around the course and they take some great pictures even when you look like a drowned rat, the photos are nice. They put them up on their facebook page. I can recommend this race for seasoned runners and those who are new to 10k’s.

Nice 10k route . Lovely scenic route set in the grounds of Tatton park. A few small climbs but nothing of great difficulty. Good course marshalling as well offering words of encouragement when you pass by.

Well organised 10k. Really friendly and well organised - not a huge event which was good as it meant everyone was fairly well spaced out. Surprisingly tiring course but fun!

Great race. My first 10k and I had a fantastic experience Well organised before and during the race with friendly and helpful staff An undulating course but scenic and managed under the hour which was a bonus! Will certainly be back

Very enjoyable. Well martialled course, easy to find with good parking. The course is quite flat and the scenery lovely. Fab medal, banana and flapjack at the end. I will definitely be returning, thank you

A very well organised event.. Tatton was a great experience - well run and marshalled with good facilities. You could have a free massage at the beginning or at the end of the race plus at the end you collected a fantastic medal, a banana, bottle of water & a flapjack.the course was varied with not too much elevation so a good place to push for a PB definitely coming back to improve my time. Overall a great day out.

Great course. Great course, fantastic marshals. Disappointed that the free bananas had run out by the time I finished and the flapjack wasn’t vegan! 😕 Still going back next month. ☺️

Well run, ran on time, off without a hitch. Marshalls & support staff were always easy to find & see. The checkpoint markers were well and accurately positioned, along with the marshalls all being well placed on turns or intersections, often holding tambourines or other percussion to guide you if you're wearing headphones, or battling through the pain!

Really enjoyed it.. I really enjoyed it. Excellent facilities and really well organised. I would certainly do it again. Got a PB on the course which really built my confidence.

Well run and marshalled with good facilities. Tatton was a great experience - well run and marshalled with good facilities and easy to get to. The run itself was good and varied with not too much elevation so a good place to push for a PB - overall a good day out and I would definitely go again!

Great experience. Great experience, well organised, interesting course. Good facilities pre and post race and a great souvenir medal. I've done plenty of these types of races and this definitely stacks up as one of the best.
