As you lace up your running shoes, you'll not only enjoy the beautiful scenery but also be rewarded with an official dragonfly medal upon completing just one lap. For those pushing their limits, distance pins are available for half-marathoners and beyond, adding to the sense of achievement! Plus, all finishers will receive a delightful goody bag filled with treats, including vegan options. Organiser's Description
Join us on the eighth day of our 2024 ten events in ten days series. Each day is a separate event and you can enter these as on individual event. Alternatively, you can sign up to our Ten In Ten Series by clicking here.
You can wish our intrepid Ten In Tenners good luck as they set off on their challenge.

Days 1,2,3.8,9,10 - The Last Hop, Staines
Days 4,5,6,7 - Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club
Course: The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The minimum distance is 5km.
Medals: As long as you complete one lap, you will be an official finisher and you will receive our fantastic dragonfly coloured medal.
Distance Pins: We have distance pins for all runners who do a half-marathon or more. There will be a distance pin for all runners who complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50km or Ultra in the 7hr time limit which can be attached to your medal ribbon.
Goody Bag: Absolutely! You have earned these replacement calories after all, so all our finishers get a great goody bag. You will have a selection of goodies to choose from. As well as our standard goody bag, we have a vegan goody bag too. Please remember to let us know if you are vegan or if you prefer a vegan goody bag when you enter and we can have this ready for you.
Aid Table: We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is an incredible selection of drinks and savoury or sweet snacks such as crisps, cheese, fruit and cookies with vegan options also available.
Special Event: If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 150th, 200th, 250th etc. marathon or half marathon then please let us know. We will provide you with a great number with your name and the event date on it. Also, if it is your birthday, again let us know and we will get you a special number for your birthday!
Toilet & Changing Facilities: Toilets are available at the start / finish area inside the venue HQ. There are changing facilities available at the venue.
Parking: At the venue, there is a large public pay and display car park.
Other Info: There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please do not leave anything valuable.
Headphones are allowed.
Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be grateful if all runners were considerate of other path users.
