Big Half 2020. I really like this race although I shouldn't because it does involve running across some cobbles. I like the route, lots to look at, great crowd support and running over Tower Bridge is something special. Great organisation. Yes, there was an issue this year causing delay to baggage collection but it hasn't happened in the previous 2 races and unlikely to happen again. Plus, the medal is fabulous. Many don't like it but it stands out on your medal rack to make you proud of the achievement!

Great route - shame about the queues. Loved the route for this half. The atmosphere was amazing throughout and I enjoyed the run thoroughly. However, the bag dropped closed an hour before the start time. This meant standing in the freezing cold pen for an hour before the race. Queueing was a common theme for this race. As soon as the race finished I queued to another 45 minutes to simple cross the road to try and retrieve my bag. It was compulsory to go to the event village, even if you didn’t want to - this added even more tine if you were trying to get home quickly. Then getting to the station and queuing to cross the raps and get in took another hour or more. Overall the race experience was great but ruined by the lack of organisation after

Forever In My Heart. This is the race event that made me fall in love with Long Distance Running; the atmosphere, the crowd, the love and support, the lovely sights of Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, and the finish at Curry Sark; I ran this as my first ever Half Marathon last year, and now it will be my 4th Half Marathon overall, and my 2nd for this particular event. Good luck for anyone joining me this year (i.e. this time next week!) 😄👍

Great run through central London.. I did this race this year and will be doing it again next year. The race is pretty flat so ideal for a PB. It was a wet and windy day, which meant the festival afterwards was cancelled. But that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the race. My highlights were running thorough the towers of Canary Wharf and running over Tower Bridge. One down side is that the price has gone up to £46.

Wont do it again. This was my first half marathon and it definately let me down. Although the weather had a major impact I felt things were unorganized and there was absolutely no after care. Just get your bag and get out. The meet and greet area was closed due to weather and there were no directions as to where to find my partner so it took me 45 minutes to find him. There was no place to change after the race which was really poor. No warm up or build up besides some music which was too far away from pen G to even hear. For a run that was advertised as community I felt as though those of us starting last were very much an afterthought. I run intervals so walk/run. In the first mile the marshals were heard making flippant comments about "people not being able to even run a mile". How inappropriate and disheartening for those who run in the "Jeffing" style. Im very disappointed.
