11.6k not 10k

The kilometre markers were a km out. Ass soon as I came to the first marker, 3k, I think, my gps had me at 4K so after 10k on my watch I had no idea how long there was to go. Myself and the other competitors all found our garmins said between 11.5 and 11.6k by the end. Lacklustre ever village and medal, very trodden and muddy and the race was delayed by an hour. I think it would be a good triathlon but the 10k wasn’t that well organised I didn't feel.
