Organiser's Description

After a successful year in 2023 the Cobham Festival of Running returns in 2024 at the beautiful Painshill Park. Created in the 18th century by Charles Hamilton as a living painting, this glorious evening run will allow you to run amongst a backdrop of dramatic follies, calming waters and simply stunning views.

With races starting at 5.45pm and a choice of 10km, 5km and 3km distances, there is an event for everyone, including children.

All races in the running festival are chip timed, with a bespoke finishers medal for all. The overall top 3 male and female finishers for each distance will be awarded trophies, as well as the following age group categories for the 10k event only:

15-17, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 & 80+

Age categories are based upon age at day of race. Finish times will be based upon gun time.

Our running events appeal to all abilities - from social runners taking the plunge into their first race, to some of the best local athletes. We strive to create an environment where all runners are encouraged to achieve their personal goals, no matter what their ability.

Entry fees include admission to Painshill Park from 4.30pm on the event day. Limited free parking is available on a first come first served basis.

Great little event. Very hilly but I survived and next time know that I'll need to do some serious hill training before.
