The Hurt

The route will have memories of the original Hurt route and with some new lung busting hills! The Hurtwood forest, rocks, mud, babbling brooks and a bit more mud…. You will need your trail shoes! It’s going to hurt…

There are road crossings and a short section of back road. Some - not all, of these locations will be marshalled. But it is always your responsibility to check it's safe to cross. Expect to see cars and exercise caution!

The route is designed to be a challenge and not for pbs!

Horses, mountain bikers, dog walkers: Always be aware of others. If approaching horses from behind, make yourself known in good time to avoid unwanted surprises! The area is popular with mountain bikers so please expect to see them.

Parking: Free parking right next to the start line.

Registration: Collect your time chip / race number on the day. Nothing is posted to you pre event.
