The Day Before George's Birthday Run

The Day Before George's Birthday and a race HQ in a brewery, nothing can go wrong - surely?.

We have been chasing numbers ourselves and know the cost of doing a large numbers of events in a short period of time. The midweek runs are designed to help bring the cost of running events down to all runners. You will still receive a great medal and a small goody bag and we will have a full aid table for runners, including a vegan range. The mIdweek runs have a flexible start time from 7.30am .

The medal will be a choice from a selection of previous medals.

There will be a distance pin for all runners who complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50km or Ultra in the 7hr time limit which can be attached to your medal ribbon.

The course is along the Thames River path and is flat and fast. It is a good quality path, with a couple of sections you run over grass with reinforcement in the soil to prevent it from becoming muddy.

Course: The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The minimum distance is 5km.

Medals: As long as you complete one lap, you will be an official finisher and you will receive our fantastic unique London Marathon medal.

Distance Pins: We have distance pins for all runners who do a half-marathon or more. There will be a distance pin for all runners who complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50km or Ultra in the 7hr time limit which can be attached to your medal ribbon.

Goody Bag: Absolutely! You have earned these replacement calories after all, so all our finishers get a great goody bag. You will have a selection of goodies to choose from. As well as our standard goody bag, we have a vegan goody bag too. Please remember to let us know if you are vegan or if you prefer a vegan goody bag when you enter and we can have this ready for you.

Aid Table: We have now returned to our full aid table selection, however we will serve you rather than a return to help yourself. You can rely on a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan selections at the aid table - great if you are running long distances.

Toilet & Changing Facilities: Toilets are available at the start / finish area inside the venue HQ. There are changing facilities available at the venue.

Parking: At the venue, there is a large public pay and display car park.

Other Info: There will be an area for kit bags to be left. This area is not watched and any bags left will be at the runner's own risk.
