Get ready for an exciting day of swimming and running at The Todmorden Aquathlon, organized by RunAble in collaboration with Tri lab. Taking place on Sunday, 17th November 2024 at Todmorden Sports Centre, this event offers participants the chance to take on a 400m pool swim followed by a 5k run in Centre Vale Park. Whether you're a novice looking for a fun challenge or a seasoned athlete aiming for a GB Team qualifying spot, this friendly and inclusive event has something for everyone. For those new to swimming, there's also the Splash and Dash option with a 100m swim and 5k run. Don't forget about the Aquathlon Relay, where teams can join forces to conquer the course together. Organiser's Description
Working with Tri lab we are proud to bring you the RunAble Aquathlon starting with the first event at Todmorden, a friendly, fun event ideal for novices, GB elites and everyone in between.
The Aquathlon is a 400m pool swim followed by a 5k run within Centre Vale Park, chip timed and aged grouped.
(And can be used as a GB Team qualifying event.)
The Splash and Dash is a novice swimmers event with a 100m swim and 5k run along the same route as the main event.
The Aquathlon Relay teams are welcome: one person swims 400m and the other completes the 5k* run.
The event will start and finish at Todmorden Sports Centre.
